General Settings
Set up the cancellation reasons that customers will see when they attempt to cancel their subscription, helping you gather feedback and understand churn. You can also define how the system should handle failed payment attempts, including how many retries are made and when a subscription should be cancelled due to ongoing payment failures.

Recommendations & Upsells
Curate a list of products that will be shown as recommendations in the customer portal, allowing subscribers to easily add one-time items to their upcoming orders. This feature helps increase average order value and gives customers more flexibility to customize their subscriptions.
Products are offered only when they are active, published to your Online Store sales channel, and available in your customer's market. Variants you hide from the Online Store aren't offered. Recommendations show the price of the subscriber's market, in the subscription's currency, and skip anything that's out of stock. The products shown to customers who don't have a subscription yet follow the same rule, priced for the market they shop in.
This is also where you switch on the cart & checkout subscription offer, which lets customers turn a one-time item into a subscription directly in the cart — and, on Shopify Plus, in checkout.
